Winter

it smells like christmas... well actually, it was just Monday and Tuesday. when God teased us with a little rain. it was chilly and i wore my yoshi indoor slippers.



now its back to sunny extended summer in socal.

Rain at Berkeley is TOTALLY different from rain in socal.

Why i didn't like rain in Berkeley:
- umbrellas were a lost cause
- it rained sideways
- everything below my knees got wet
- i had to walk to class (my papers, books, bags got wet)
- my apt was like a fridge (I used to hear the wind seeping through the door cracks)

Why I like the rain in Socal:
- umbrellas actually help
- im usually indoors
- i have a car
- my house has a heater
- there is always sunshine after the rain

i can't wait for winter :)
